We use ultrasound imaging during your visit to examine your areas of concern and guide injection procedures we may perform. This is a powerful diagnostic tool that often immediately identifies the underlying issue causing pain. Our practice combines traditional treatment options with regenerative medicine including PRP (platelet rich plasma) and prolotherapy when needed. Our team works closely with many experienced physical therapists, acupuncturists, and chiropractors and can provide the best referral for you or join with your current provider.

Ultrasound Diagnostics and Injection Guidance

Ultrasound technology has been around for decades, but its use in outpatient settings has been limited until recently. At FUSION, we use ultrasound technology to identify and locate soft tissue abnormalities that may be the result of an injury or the source of chronic pain.

When administering PRP or stem cell injections, ultrasound is used to help guide the injections and ensures correct placement of the injection to deliver the greatest benefit to the patient and the best patient outcomes.
